Symptoms & Causes of Endometriosis

Endometriosis is the major cause of infertility in women. The condition can be cured with proper treatment if it is in the initial stages of development. The exact cause of endometriosis is still unknown. The cause might be due to genetic factors or disorders of the immune system. Retrograde menstruation might also be one of the causes. Besides, the endometrial cells may attach to a surgical scar.
