BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Gauranga Saikia is passionate about patient care and focuses on connecting and communicating with patients with compassion. He is a board-certified Minimal Access / Laparoscopic Surgeon with an overall experience of more than 20 years. He has completed several fellowships in Minimal Access Gastrointestinal and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, including fellowships from the National Board of Examinations, recognized by the Medical Council of India. Dr. Saikia has been mentored and trained by some of the leading authorities and pioneers in Minimal Access, Bariatric, and Metabolic Surgery. He has also worked on pioneering innovations in these surgical fields. He is one of the few surgeons performing Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (Scarless Laparoscopic Surgery). Dr. Saikia has received awards and has been invited as faculty at several national conferences.
